Our own work
- The poster drawings, including constellation lines, are our own. The lines follow traditional Western figures and were written for this project. They are not taken from another star-map program.
- The Milky Way on the darker designs is a soft band calculated from each star’s place in the sky and the standard north galactic pole. It is not a photograph and not a separate catalogue.
- The moon print is a disc drawn in the browser from the calculated phase. The dark patches are a simple pattern, not a photograph of the Moon.
- Paper grain, foil-gold rings, and watercolour washes are drawn in the browser for each poster. The framed pictures used in the shop images are drawn the same way. No stock photographs are used.
- Star coordinates stay in a separate file under the HYG licence. The rest of the site is our own work, all rights reserved.
